POSITION SUMMARY

  • This position is primarily responsible for providing Payroll services, in accordance with Service Level Agreements, to employees, managers and Human Resources. Lead the entire payroll flow from processing to reporting and reconciliation to the Financial Management System. Responsible for delivering the correct salary to all employees in Vietnam at the right time, and shared services by supporting employees, managers and external organisations in all payroll related enquiries. Analyze each task assigned and identify areas for standardization and process improvement. Complete compliance related duties in accordance with company policy, Vietnam Labor Laws. Maintaining the employee information accurately on timely effective in GEMS. Implement and synchronize the HRSS procedure, forms and others related documents pertaining to Human Resources.

Yêu cầu công việc

1. Formal education:

  • Bachelor’s degree payroll/hr/finance or experience of working within a payroll department
  • Focus in payroll business related field

2. Knowledge & experience:

A. Required

  • Have excellent knowledge within vietnam labor law, national collective agreements
  • Excellent communication and interacting skills, both verbally and written
  • Be fluent in english, prefer Chinese language
  • Have problem solving ability, analytical and numeracy skills
  • Experience of working within a target driven and complex organisation – preferably hr shared services and working with service level agreements/key performance indicators
  • Experience of using hr and payroll systems (oracle applications, flex)
  • Ability to make appropriate decisions, priorities and good attention to detail
  • Ability to build strong and influential working relationships

B. Preferred

  • Payroll qualification or studying towards or equivalent

3. Technical/skill requirements:

Required:

  • Must be knowledgeable in microsoft office - excel, word, power point, project.
  • Demonstrate skills in payroll & hr processes and data record keeping.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies e.g. Lean.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of hr & payroll systems & tools e.g. Flex, oracle applications, case management
  • Demonstrate ability to lead and deliver continuous improvement projects

4. Travel requirements: (time spent away from home or other typical office location)

  • Travel requirements: self-sufficient
