• Head of Legal is responsible for ensuring that the Organization’s legal policies are in compliance with the regulatory and legal frameworks of the industry. In addition, the role is also responsible for putting in place legal policies and procedures and ensuring that they are aligned to the Organization’s strategies and that they are adhered to.
• Head of Legal will also serve as an advisor to the Board of Management and provide counsel and guidance with regards to legal matters relating to the Organization.
JOB FUNCTION / RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Leadership
• Responsible for providing and developing the strategic direction and counselling for legal cases to minimise the Organizational impacts
• Responsible for all corporate legal matters and support the Managing Director in updates to the Board
• Serve as an advisor to the Board of Management and provide counsel and advise to the Board of Management with regards to the Organization’s legal rights and obligations
• Continually be kept updated of the relevant laws and regulations to ensure compliance with the regulatory and legal frameworks of the industry
Key Responsibilities
• Responsible for the management of the day-to-day legal planning of the Organization
• Responsible for analysing the Organization’s legal risk prevention policies and the impact of regulatory or legislative changes on its operations
• Ensure that the corporate administration procedures are performed in compliance with all regulatory requirements
• Oversee and manage litigations related to consumer protection matters and provide counsel and advice when necessary
• Identify the consumer protection opportunities in the retail operations and provide recommendations to senior management, where required
• Responsible for the review and management of company contracts and provide counsel and advice, where required
• Oversee and is responsible for managing the application and administrative matters of permits, providing counsel and advice when necessary
• Support the communication and negotiation required for all licenses and permits and manage relations with government agencies, where required.
• Continually work with team members to identify process improvement opportunities and implement programmes and initiatives, where required
Staff Management & Development
• Identify the necessary skill sets required to meet business demands and ensure that recruitment, compensation and retention strategies are aligned to meet requirements.
• Review the performances of direct reports to ensure that individual and Organizational targets are met
• Set and communicate performance targets for the staff to ensure alignment of the individual’s objectives to the corporate objectives.

Yêu cầu công việc

• Years of experience: at least 07 years in legal practicing experience. Deep experience in In-house counsel is are advantage and preferable
• Have experiences in FMCG is an advantage
• Having university graduation with LAW major and owed the lawyer practicing certificate;
• Good computer skills using all major office applications;
• Excellent in spoken and written English and Vietnamese;
• Working in hard pressure, challenging;
• Creative, management skill and self-driven;
• Flexibility to adapt with business requirements and changing laws and regulations;

- Salary: 46tr - 70tr
- Annual bonus based on KPI and performance review.
