I liaised/negotiated with shipping companies like Mearsk, Iraninan Shipping Lines (IRISL), Dan Bunkering, Mare Maritime Singapore Pte Ltd, Tan Bihn Co Ltd,Ocean Eleven Shipping Corp to name a few. I have made successful recoveries under sale contracts, unpaid bunker claims, unpaid demurrage, short landing claims, unpaid sums under ship building contracts etc. I have also handled significant number of insurance claims as well. I am also well versed with export and import procedures and documentation. Additionally, I have also under taken mortgage, registration and encumbrance search of vessels. I have made successful recoveries for companies like Jotun India Pvt Ltd and made recoveries for unpaid creditors of Bergen Oilfield Services. I have been part of several successful commercial arbitrations as well. I have also drafted and vetted shipping documents like charter-party, bill of lading,sale contracts (CIF and FOB).

I have keen sense to attention to detail. I can easily work in a group or individually on a matter. My communication and negotiation skills have been lauded as I have resolved a lot of disputes on this basis. Given my background of litigation, I have also done a lot of research during preparation of my case. I am always willing to learn hence I always participate in seminars and spend time with interns discussing merit of the case.
