Richter medicines have had an uninterrupted presence in Vietnam since 1955. In 1995, with the establishment of Richter’s representative office the local team began to interact directly with healthcare providers in Vietnam.
In 1996, Gedeon Richter was the first company in Vietnam to register and market the ACE inhibitor enalapril. Another historical milestone was 1998-99, when the first GCP trial on enalapril was carried out as a result of a successful scientific cooperation between Richter and Vietnamese doctors.

In the last 25 years, Richter launched new, efficient products with affordable prices to support and serve the healthcare system in Vietnam. During this period, the local office experienced a fourfold growth in size and the turnover increased tenfold. Richter has become a recognized leader in gynecology, a unique provider of emergency and regular contraception as well as of treatments for cardiovascular and central nervous system conditions.
