- Develops employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, key employee retention and development, and high performance.
- Conducts weekly meetings with respective business units.
- Analyzes trends and metrics to develop appropriated solutions, programs and policies at the Company.
- Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as required.
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Improves work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Provides clearly HR policy guidance and interpretation to all Department Heads when required.
- Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
- Identifies training needs forbusiness units and individual executive coaching needs.
- Leads company compliance with all existing governmental and labor legal and government reporting requirements.
- Directs the preparation of information requested or required for compliance with laws. Approves all information submitted. Serves as the primary contact with the company employment law attorney and outside government authorities.
- Protects the interests of employees and the company in accordance with company HR policies and governmental laws and regulations.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by HR Director and Board of Directors.

Yêu cầu công việc

- University degree
- At least 5 years experience at the same position in Retails or FMCG company
- Proven experience in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, recruitment, organization development, employee relations, safety, employee engagement, and employee development.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of government law and procedures.
- Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop HR department staff members.
- General knowledge of various employment laws and practices and experience working with a corporate employment law attorney.
- Proven experience in the administration of benefits and compensation programs and other Human Resources recognition and engagement programs and processes.
- Excellent organizational management skills.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Good communication in English. French is a plus
