* General Description

  • The Director of Human Resources is responsible for staffing qualified personnel; ensuring employment statute compliance; overseeing all aspects of wage, benefit, worker’s compensation unemployment; training program direction, implementation and administration; and employee relations coaching, counseling and discipline.


* Main tasks

  • Experience in supporting and promoting company culture
  • Excellent people skills – positive approach to working and building credibility with managers and employees, assisting with conflict resolution
  • Strong talent management skills – recruitment and selection, campus relationships, orientation, employee relations, performance management
  • Compensation knowledge – based on company design, implementation, administration
  • Benefits expertise – high-deductible health plan, other insured benefits, time off, etc. – design, implementation, administration
  • Computer savvy – MS Office, can crunch a spreadsheet and calculate/track retention and other relevant HR statistics, maintain career website
  • Expertise with employee communications – local and remote offices, and making presentations to employees
  • A good sense of humor and an interest in engineering

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related area preferred, HR certification is desirable
  • BA, Legal
  • English fluently
  • Master in computer
  • Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in a client-focused HR Generalist role including resourcing, employee relations, project management and integrated talent management experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years managing a team
  • Experience in professional services sector a strong positive
  • Experience partnering with senior management
  • Strong analytics, business, and financial acumen (e.g., understand P&L and impacts of financial statements on business operations)
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • A client focused mindset
  • Deep project and change management skills
  • Learning agility, adaptability, flexibility of approach, and the ability to up-skill quickly
  • Comfortable with ambiguity
  • Ability to lead, coach and advise leadership to empower employees and builds high-performing teams
