Your employment duties are as per the below; however, this list is not to be taken as fixed or exhaustive and you will be expected to perform any reasonable employment task given by a superior;
1. General Duties:
1.1. Coordinate with Directors and Managers to daily monitor the progress of works.
1.2. Ensure that all Client’s requirements & procedures are understood.
1.3. Coordinate with teams to ensure that previous experiences project information can be referenced & cross check against all current work to be delivered to the Client.
1.4. As necessary, perform other duties, requiring essentially the same level of skill & responsibility when required.
2. Construction Legal Executive:
2.1. Overseeing all client and vendor contracts.
2.2. Providing commercially sensible and cost-effective legal advice for construction contracts management.
2.3. Conducting legal research in various areas.
2.4. Drafting & Reviewing & Negotiating Construction Contracts.
2.5. Drafting other legal documents for company and construction projects.
2.6. Support Directors and Project Managers in presenting the company’s position to clients and advise managers on what their contractual rights and obligations are.
2.7. Ensuring compliance to construction laws and regulations.
2.8. Assist in the resolution of contractual claims and disputes.
2.9. Provide summaries of contractual and commercial issues to senior management.
2.10. Meeting and interviewing clients.
2.11. Acting on behalf of clients in meetings, interviews, disputes, if necessary.
2.12. Vetting of Performance Bonds, Warranties and Guarantees submitted by contractors/subcontractors to check if it is in compliance with contract requirements.
2.13. Advise on project insurance matters in relation to the Project.
3. In-House Compliance Executive:
3.1. Implement and manage an effective legal compliance program.
3.2. Develop and review company policies.
3.3. Advise management on the company’s compliance with laws and regulations through detailed reports.
3.4. Create and manage effective action plans in response to audit discoveries and compliance violations.
3.5. Regularly audit company procedures, practices, and documents to identify possible weaknesses or risks.
3.6. Assess company operations to determine compliance risk.
3.7. Ensure all employees are educated on the latest regulations and processes.
3.8. Resolve employee concerns about legal compliance.
Yêu cầu công việc
4. Education
4.1. Bachelor at Laws.
5. To be considered for this role, applicants will need to have as a minimum:
5.1. Intermediate skill in Excel & MS Word.
5.2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for Vietnamese and intermediate verbal and written communication skills for English.
5.3. Time management skills.
5.4. Multi-tasking skills.
5.5. Initiative and enthusiasm.
5.6. Team player.
6. Wages and remuneration: To be commensurate with qualifications.
