I. JOB SUMMARY:
The incumbent is responsible for assisting the Claims & Customer Service Director in the following matters:
• Support the Claim Department in resolving all claim related issues, including:
o Analyze and propose solutions, from a legal perspective, for customers’ grievances and conflicts, claim rejections, subrogation/recovery, third party liabilities and other claim related issues;
o Draft communications to customers and/or relevant authorities (i.e., explanation letters, demand letters, claim decision letters, etc.);
o Resolve conflicts and disputes with customers (if any), through either amicable negotiation/conciliation in the office or litigation at the court;
• Review all contracts/agreements and other legal documents per the requests of other departments of the company;
• Perform the regular online compliance trainings and certifications;
• Perform all legal/compliance projects assigned by the head office; and
• Other legal & compliance works as assigned by the Claims & Customer Service Director.

II. JOB DUTIES:
• Evaluate, advise and prepare and draft legal documents necessary for the claim process;
• Review and advise on claims documents (claims form, policy wording, etc.,);
• Follow up and control third party liabilities claims and recoveries;
• Support the company and represent (if necessary and upon authorization) to deal with relevant authorities and courts;
• Resolve customers’ grievances and/or conflicts with customers and/or third parties;
• Negotiate with customers to settle disputes;
• Prepare and review claim settling agreements with customers;
• Ensure the completion of online compliance trainings and certifications by all employees.

Yêu cầu công việc

• University graduate, bachelor in Law. Possession of relevant Insurance Professional Qualifications is preferable;
• Strong verbal and written communications (both English and Vietnamese) skills;
• Strong negotiation, analytical and decision making skills;
• Proficiency in MS Office;
• Integrity - Job requires being honest and ethical.
