2009 -2016 : Senior Sourcing Merchandiser
Duties:
• Source suppliers in Local for non-food stuffs like bags, detergence, toothbrushes
• and outsource around the world for foods like Frozen food like salmon heads, portions, frozen chicken, frozen beef and fruits like grapes, apples, oranges, and so on.
• Be responsible for all issues relating to the shipment like shipping marks, time of delivery and keep relevant people updated from getting the order confirmation.
• Release monthly reports; perform other activities assigned by Manager.
• Well-know all procedures of import and exports works
Non-food:
✓ Bags (Reusable bags like Polypropylene Woven/Nonwoven bags, Biodegradable bags, paper bags, and so on.)
- Work closely with Customers to understand well their needs, support them on development a new bag/ type.
- Support technicians on creating the 2D,3D artwork from Customer’s design.
- On the behalf of Customers, Work with factories on the development’s process by checking and validating the color of cromaline in order to have the actual sample bag as Customer wants.
- Follow with Factory, Inspection company, Shipping line in order to launch the bag to stores on time.
- Handle all uncreditable matters from the beginning of sample products until products launched out to the market.
✓ Garment and footwear:
- Look for suppliers following specification/ sketches and requested standards from Customers to ask for the offer.
- Support factories to source suppliers of fabric, accessories in case factories cannot.
- Follow up the orders from beginning until cargos on board included to handle on Inspection goods before loading.
Food:
- Look for suppliers in UK, Brazil, Poland, France in order to import foods like Frozen salmon heads, portions, frozen chicken, frozen beef, and so on in order to supply for Big C Vietnam supermarkets.
- Source and export Vietnamese Rice to France and Islands of France, an Vietnamese fruits and vegetable like Dragon fruits, Sweet Potato ….
- Coordinate with Importer and also Forwarder to calculate all relevant cost in order to offer Buyers.
- Supervise the unloading containers once they arrive in Vietnam.
- Solve matters on quality once getting claims from stores.
2007 – 2009 : Admin Assistant for Sourcing Director
Duties:
• Handle all administration works related to Director and also support team so that all members can work well.
• Control the expense of Import and Export Department
• Make
